WELCOME TO THIS HOUSE OF PRAYER DEDICATED TO ST MICHAEL & ALL ANGELS WITH ST JAMES.
MANY HAVE COME TO THIS HOLY PLACE IN JOY AND IN SORROW TO FIND STRENGTH AND PEACE.
Daily, the Holy Eucharist, the central act of Christian worship, is celebrated here in the heart of Croydon. This Service, known by the majority of Christians as the Mass, provides us with God's greatest Gift of the Holy Communion. This sacrament of Our Lord's Body and Blood was given to the Church by Jesus Christ at the Last Supper, on the eve of His Sacrificial death, as the means whereby we may continue to share His life, death and resurrection for the salvation of the world.
If you are a newcomer or a visitor attending a service, please have a word with the priest or with one of those who are on duty near the main door. If you need help finding your way through the service then please do not hesitate to ask anyone in the congregation for assistance.
The people and priests of the Parish of St Michael & All Angels with St James are in the care of the Bishop of Fulham, one of the bishops of the Church of England. So we belong to that worldwide Anglican family of Christians who witness to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith in the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.
To our brothers and sisters of other traditions, and to men and women of all faiths and of none, this Church dedicated to St Michael & All Angels with St James extends a loving welcome.
If you would like to talk to a priest, wish to learn a little more, or you are thinking about baptism or confirmation please contact
